Every spice has a story…
Our Story
Rack Pack was created to bring imagination, confidence, and connection into the kitchen — helping children explore the world through flavor, story, and hands-on fun.

Why Rack Pack was created
Rack Pack was created to make cooking feel magical for children. The idea is simple: when kids are invited to explore flavor through stories, characters, and hands-on activities, learning becomes an adventure. Rack Pack turns everyday kitchen moments into chances to build confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Founder story

Some of my earliest memories involve food. My mom still laughs about the time I tried to make chicken noodle soup for our neighbor at age two or three. It was a disaster — but he ate it anyway. That moment set the tone for everything that followed.

Food has always been how I make sense of the world. I think about it constantly — the flavors, the stories behind them, the cultures they come from, the confidence that comes from making something with your own hands.
The idea for Rack Pack came to me on a sunrise bike ride to the beach. I was thinking: what if spices and herbs came to life and shared their stories with kids? What if children could learn about flavor, culture, and cooking through characters they actually loved? I thought about Cardamom first — bold, complex, feminine. Then Paprika, Cinnamon, and Oregano. By the time I got home I was running to the art store for paper and colored pencils. I drew them all that day.

That was the beginning. Since then I've been building Rack Pack with one goal in mind: to help kids turn spatulas into magic wands — and discover that the kitchen is one of the most adventurous places on earth.
After years working in consumer goods, I'm so honored to be taking this step and sharing Rack Pack with you. Thank you for being here.
