“Hey guys, I'm Paprika! And I LOVE to travel!”

Paprika is the first Rack Pack star — a brave kitchen heroine who loves to travel the world and discover new flavors. She helps kids feel confident, creative, and excited to try something new. Her spatula is her magic wand, and every recipe is part of the adventure.

Where it all began

Born in Mexico, 6500 years ago!

Mexican farmers slow-roasted Capsicum annuum peppers over oak wood fire for two whole weeks, then ground them into a fine powder. And voilà — Paprika! Today the best paprika is still made this way in Spain and Hungary too.

The Timeline (Wow!)

  1. 6,500+ years ago (Mexico)

    People dried and roasted the red peppers that they grew, then they ground the peppers into powder that was easy to carry, share and enjoy.

  2. 500+ years ago

    When Spanish explorers traveled to the Americas, they brought peppers back to Spain, and paprika begins its European adventure.

  3. Today

    Paprika is everywhere, but Spain and Hungary are most famous for it.
